Abigail Adamiak
Music Instructor
Abigail Adamiak is a music educator and has been teaching at Pittsburgh School of the Arts since March of 2023. She is currently a long-term music substitute for Blackhawk School District and especially enjoys teaching general music. Abigail is primarily a percussionist, also greatly enjoys teaching drumline, and has been a drumline instructor for the South Allegheny marching band for the past three seasons. Abigail has always had a great love for teaching music and has been teaching private lessons since 2020. She attended and graduated from West Virginia University with her Bachelor of Music in Music Education. During her time at WVU, she had the opportunity to perform with WVU's Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, Fife and Drum Ensemble, Steel Band, and the CMA Church of Morgantown’s Worship Ministry Orchestra. Abigail has also enjoyed serving as a camp counselor and teacher at WVU's Summer Percussion Academy. She has also had the opportunity to perform with the Butler Symphony. When not teaching music, she enjoys painting, tending to her plants, learning Mandarin and Spanish, and spending time with her friends and family.
